In Light of Pandemic, Boiceville Cottages and La Bourgade On Seneca Expanding Offering of Virtual Tours
BROOKTONDALE AND BURDETT, NY — In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Cuomo’s guidelines, Boiceville Cottages and La Bourgade On Seneca have made critical adjustments including increasing the availability of virtual tours of rental houses and apartments.
Owner and manager Bruno Schickel’s decision is based on an effort to keep rental communities and prospective tenants as safe as possible.
For Bruno, the pandemic hits home and necessitates conscious effort.
“Home should be your safest haven. Given my role, it’s important that I do my part.”
These communities, located in Brooktondale and Burdett, NY, are home to many affiliated with Cornell University, Ithaca College, and the healthcare industry. With social distancing and limited travel as new norms in New York State for the foreseeable future, Bruno has noticed how prospective tenants themselves have made changes in their search for a new home.
“My inbox is flooded with rental inquiries requesting virtual showings. Already I’ve signed a few leases through virtual tours alone.”
Virtual tours of Boiceville Cottages and La Bourgade On Seneca can be watched on Instagram, Facebook, and the properties’ websites.
